A380 Business Class Seat 14A 1h30 transit in Changi between Beijing and Paris. Just enough to buy some stuff in the duty free shops and spend some time at the Sliver Kris Singapore Airlines lounge in Terminal 3. I've left my iPhone charging there and just realized it was still charging in the lounge when I was aboard the A380 and 10 before departure... Thanks to the friendly Singapore Airlines staff I've got my iPhone back as they called the lounge and sent someone with a buggy to get it back. That's customer service! Thanks Singapore Airlines.

B777-300ER Economy Class Seat 35A Pretty long flight by I was busy working on 2010 Planning so it was quite fast at the end. the 777-300ER is quite comfortable too so a pretty good flight. A special mention to the Beijing Singapore Airlines lounge with a very "Chinese" touch.

Traveling at 430 km/h

Woke up at 5:00am to catch a Limousine bus to the Narita airport. Stopped at the All Nippon Airlines Lounge to have breakfast and rest a little bit. A quite fast flight not crowded at all so had plenty of space to sleep.

As usual from Osaka to Tokyo or Tokyo to Osaka the easiest and fastest way is to take the Bullet Train (Shinkansen). Also to save time on this 2h or 3h trip many lunch and dinner boxes can be bought at the station. This time I had beef with sweet water.

A380 Economy Class. Not so great but definitively better than average. Entertainement system. Almost as good as on Emirates

The Famous Shinkansen "Bullet" train. The best way to travel into Japan. Expensive but fast and convenient

Guys - beware that some flights with SQ will not give you any miles! I paid my ticket 1,000 euros, flew 12h30 hours and had no frequent flyers miles at all, where the usual miles you get is close to 700. I will investigate this as last time i flew the same SQ333 flight for 600 euros and I was credited 7000 miles AND SingAir advertises that you can double your mles if you fly in June!!! Not very customer friendly! Eryk

Departing Paris on Sunday June 7 I arrived in Tokyo on Monday 8 6pm ! 12h with the new A380 from Paris to Singapore SQ333 was not too bad. But the SQ12 Singapore to Tokyo was aweful, full of crying babies and screeming kids flying to LA via Tokyo. In addition, the 747 is a very old place if you compare it to the brand new A380.
